Grayscale Imaging Electronics

The CIP Grayscale offers all the functionality of a Monoscale CIP with enhanced particle imaging. Particle sections are shaded in three colors depending on the level of light they obscured.

GRAYSCALE FEATURES:

 

  • Grayscale 2-D imaging in three levels, with 1D histogram data

  • New probe or upgrade to existing probe, with upgrades receiving a full probe checkout and calibration

  • 15-micron resolution at 180 m/s air speed

  • 25-micron resolution at 300 m/s air speed

  • High definition for small particle depth-of-field determinations

  • Conversion of diode current to a digital signal after one stage of amplification

  • PADS software interface, with realtime image viewing as well as playback and analysis

  • Software configurable for different grayscale threshold settings

  • High-speed serial RS-422 and RS-232 interfaces
