Recycling at DMT Headquarters
DMT recycles cardboard, paper, newspaper, magazines, and drink containers through municipal single-stream recycling. We pay to have used computers, monitors, electronics, and printed circuit boards properly recycled through Ecocycle's Center for Hard-to-Recycle Materials (CHaRM). We also recycle packing peanuts, Tyvek envelopes and batteries. Batteries are recycled through a program at Batteries Plus.
Purchasing Green Products
Much of DMT's office paper contains high recycled content. In addition, the company has installed a water cooler system and have distributed aluminum water bottles to employees, eliminating the need for bottled water. Finally, the company purchases cleaning products designed to minimize environmental impact.
Encouraging Environmentally Friendly Transportation
DMT employees receive free bus passes upon request. In addition, the company reimburses gas expenses for employees who carpool. Through a program at Boulder East Community Transportation Options, an onsite bike is also available for employees who want to run errands by bicycle.
