is concerned about the environment. As a company involved in atmospheric sciences research, we understand the fragility and complexity of the natural world. We currently have the following green efforts underway:
Recycling at DMT Headquarters
DMT recycles cardboard, paper, newspaper, magazines, and drink containers through municipal single-stream recycling. We pay to have used computers, monitors, electronics, and printed circuit boards properly recycled through Ecocycle's Center for Hard-to-Recycle Materials (CHaRM). We also recycle packing peanuts, Tyvek envelopes and batteries. Batteries are recycled through a program at Batteries Plus.
Purchasing Green Products
Much of DMT's office paper contains high recycled content. In addition, the company has installed a water cooler system and have distributed aluminum water bottles to employees, eliminating the need for bottled water.
Encouraging Environmentally Friendly Transportation
DMT employees receive free bus passes upon request. In addition, the company reimburses gas expenses for employees who carpool.
