DMT SPECIFICATIONS:

 

  • Multiple Instruments in one flight canister, covering a sizing range from 2µm to 1550µm, plus Hot-Wire LWC sensing, Temperature and RH

  • Cloud Droplet Probe (CDP) section uses forward-scatter techniques to measure particles from 3µm to 50µm

  • Cloud Imaging Probe (CIP) section: 64-element photodiode array to generate 2-Dimensional Images of particles from 25-1550µm, as well as sizing and concentration in 1-Dimensional Histogram form, and includes 8 channels housekeeping data

  • Airspeed and Altitude measurements from the heated Pitot tube
