was incorporated in 1987 in Boulder, Colorado, by two engineers and an atmospheric scientist. After two expansions, our current 12,000 square-foot facility employs atmospheric scientists, electrical engineers, optical engineers, mechanical engineers, technicians and various consultants.

We manufacture our own airborne and particle spectrometers and other instruments for a wide variety of size ranges and airspeeds. We also maintain and repair instruments made by other companies, and offer a variety of hardware upgrade packages to increase the speed and functionality of older designs. DMT offers many services including consultation and hands-on training in the operation and maintenance of both DMT instruments and others, either in-house or at your location.

We have developed a sophisticated software application for data acquisition and analysis, as shown on our Products page. This software is available with our instruments or instrument upgrades, or separately. It runs under Windows 2000 or Windows XP operating systems, and we can assemble and configure the computer hardware and software for you.
