ECC Ozonesonde Start-up Kit

This kit is designed for preparing ECC ozonesondes for use. It includes the following items:

  • Reagent-grade chemicals sufficient for 200 ozonesonde flights

  • Pump airflow-rate measurement apparatus (soap bubble type)

  • Pressure-vacuum gauge for use in checking sonde pump performance

  • Sensing solution containers

  • Calibrated beakers

  • Solution-dispensing syringes and accessory items

  • Portable ozone destruction filter

  • Laboratory ozone destruction filter

  • Weighing scale, accurate to within 0.01 g, for preparing ECC sonde sensing solution (optional)

  • Clamp to support glass burette on flow rate measurement apparatus

  • Additional clamp to attach pressure gauge to flow rate measurment aparatus (optional)

Note: Users must provide distilled water. Chemical weighing scale is also required and may be purchased as an option.
